Open since 1972 and often said to have originally been a zoo, Gala Night is famed for its many animal-themed nights. Surrounded by a forest, Gala Night is an outdoor club and amphitheatre on the outskirts of San Antonio. It features a pool and ample room for dancing to house and techno, and the club's space is littered with "animal enclosures" (including a "seal pit") to be made sense of by clubbers. There's also a restaurant, indoor club with 350-person capacity, paintball and lounge.
