- Monarch is a nightclub and bar located just on the outskirts of San Francisco's Soma district, founded by four experienced SF nightlife denizens. The venue has two levels, with the first dedicated to its bar and lounge and decorated comprehensively including 'steampunk chandeliers' and a large mural. The downstairs room is the club portion, with a custom-designed Void Acoustics soundsystem, bar, and elevated DJ booth, in addition to two more lounge areas.
