I was born in Argentona (Barcelona) in 1981. Musically trained on piano for a short period of time, I used to arrange melodies and lyrics at a very early age. Having discovered computers in 1991 and music production briefly after that, I started producing with Fast Tracker, Scream Tracker and Cubase. At the age of 15, I was known as Ekno and started DJing Techno on 3 decks at illegal raves and private parties. In 1997 I secured a DJ residency in Fray Tack club where I shared the decks with some of the most important DJs and producers of the Catalan Techno scene. Ten years later Reï Taak was born. Having graduated in Sound Engineering, Logic Pro and Music business in the UK and with loads of finished but unreleased productions, Reï Taak was ready to come closer to the spotlight. Having run Mind-State Productions since 2006, putting on popular London nights such as Wonderland, AfterMoon, Unknown, Nasty Plastic, B-Sides and lastly Tech'n'Disco and the Mind-Deep Showcase. I have been booked to play in London clubs such as The End, The Doors, Ministry of Sound, Public Life, 1001 and Herbal among others. My productions skills have so far taken me to release with Piso Records, De La Casa, Beiak and Nat Team. I am regularly preparing new releases, always intending to be a strong addition to this music scene.
