VOLATL tm, along with the notorious San Francisco based listed Productions, are taking Chicago parties to the next level - the weekend of July 25th and 26th. The weekend will feature two days of high caliber dance music - from artists from around the globe, positive vibes, debauchery and top notch sound
The Chicago Doubleheader weekend starts with "Game On, " a true Chicago Underground party presented by VOLATL. True to form, VOLATL will provide pristine sound for this show. The debauchery goes straight through until morning when the party moves from the underground to the light of day at Morretti's,for the third installment of "Varsity Allstars."
The Game On headliner will be Archipel label boss, Pheek, from Montreal, with a LIVE PA His discography is enormous and his commitment to artist development and music sharing is legendary. He has released on labels ranging from TicTacToe, to Leftroom, to remixes for m_nus.
Stefny will be making her Chicago debut. With releases on Airdrop, Archipel, and Addon, Stefny has quickly developed a reputation for her production skills, with artists such as Ryan Elliott, Matt Dear and Three charting her tracks. She has appeared at Resolute Detroit (2008), Piknik, toured Japan, and is a regular at Bunker in New York.
Kate Simko's amazing production speaks for itself. Her Ep "She Said" was critically acclaimed worldwide and atop the Beatport chart for weeks. She has played Fabric, Weekend Club, Sunday School for Degenerates (New York) and more.
Mike Khoury is quickly making a name for himself, with his seamless mixing and intelligent track selection. He is a listed resident and has recently played tag - team, marathon sets with Lee Burridge all over Europe.
Dennis Rapp is one of Chicago's hidden talents. He frequently appears at Vision and played Varsity Allstars last year. Dennis is now beginning to play across the US and introduce new audiences to his slick sound!
