Retaining the mantra 'revoluton for change' this is the first in a series of projects from long term LOST collaborator Jeff Mills. The Sleeper Wakes..... 'The Sleeper Wakes is a project about Great Change... exploring time and the absence of it. It explores the various methods of creating sound for a specific time in Space for our future, the preparation and calculation of what could and will be and most importantly, what we do with this sensitive and rare opportunity' - Jeff Mills Once again setting the precedent for the future of electronic dance music, specifically that to emerge from Detroit in the latter part of the 20th Century, Jeff Mills continues to set the pace into the 21st Century forging forward the futurist tradition of musical visionaries. No strangers to LOST events, both guests have played to great acclaim at the more intimate spacebase nights. Steve has become synonymous with the sound of the seminal LOST events and the electronic dance music that it has pioneered and championed. Revered globally as one of the world's most consistent, forward-thinking and innovative nights, putting quality before quantity and innovation before imitation, LOST has defined and motivated a new generation of clubbers, dj's, artists and producers. Benji B is a unique DJ, renowned for his unprecedented selections and distinctive style, seamlessly drawing from several musical genres within each set. Regarded as one of the finest tastemakers by fans, producers and DJ’s, Benji is a respected broadcaster, having recently joined BBC Radio 1, where he plays a wide selection of brand new underground music across the board. With a loyal and diverse global audience, it’s fair to say he boasts one of the most varied and unique tracklistings on British radio today, as well as frequently being the highest rated most played-back shows on BBC Radio iPlayer. Benji also finds the time to run one of London's most successful mid week club nights, Deviation. A man aware of the LOST musical heritage there are generally gems from Underground Resistance, Theo Parrish and others of the Detroit persuasion encoded in his sets, a revelation. Tomoki Tamura hails from Osaka, Japan, where he built his steadfast reputation as one of Japan’s most promising electronic DJs. Resident in London since 2004 he has continued to rock the dance floor throughout the capital, hosting Holic in London alongside a residency at Womb, Japan. Tomoki's successful mix albums 'The Groove Cafe Series' led to his own productions released on Satoshi Tomiie's Saw Recordings, Germany's Plastic City and New York's Nite Grooves amongst others.A true underground music ambassador.
