On Saturday 24th September, Blkmarket Membership invites you to an event which has been in the works for quite sometime. Our 3 headlining acts are ALL LIVE ACTS. Public Lover live / Bruno Pronsato & Thomas Melchior live / dOP live all join residents Taimur & Fahad for a very special night of music.
Public Lover is the inevitable result of two people making music for years. A duo who grew up to My Bloody Valentine, Roxy Music, techno and house, Public Lover is the collaboration between one of our favorite couples, Bruno Pronsato & Ninca Leece. They have had many critics and fans grasping for more since they joined forces. This will be their New York debut.
Since hearing about Bruno Pronsato & Thomas Melchior's live show together in October 2009 at Zurich's Cityfox party, we knew this was something that we absolutely must bring stateside. Both are major influences for us here at Blkmarket Membership and this booking was something we continually kept inquiring about. With their busy schedules and both becoming fathers recently, it was difficult for them to commit on a date together. Finally now two years later, we are proud to announce two of our favorites, playing live together for the first time ever in New York!
dOP's New York debut was only last year for our fifth year anniversary. The energy that they share on stage is unlike any act we have seen in this industry. They have made quite an impact since their arrival and show no signs of stopping any time soon. With big releases on Circus Company and Supplement Facts just to name a few and a Watergate 06 compilation which blurred the bourdaries between an artist album and a DJ mix, Clement Zemstov, Damien Vandesande and Jonathan "JoJo" Illel are back in town to rock the party.
