Sunday, Aug 14 we present a rare performance by Cocoon artist Onur Özer. Onur has been a resident at Watergate and mixed Watergate's first mix-cd (http://www.residentadvisor?.net/news.aspx?id=9329) in the past. This year, he is one of the Cocoon Heroes, playing regularly at the Cocoon shows in Amnesia, Ibiza and worldwide. He is also one of the few DJs who regularly plays alongside Ricardo Villalobos around the world. Onur will be playing an early Sunset set.
Tabaq's Glass Terrace features a retractable top with spectacular 360° views of DC, all in an intimate setting. Drinks specials until 8pm and Tabaq's great food menu with lots of tapas options will also be available. Party starts at 4PM with mimosa, sangria and mojito pitcher specials.

At the end of the 90s, Onur started his career as producer and DJ at the center of Istanbul’s thriving tech and minimal house scene. In 2003, he already held various residencies in Istanbul’s best clubs and traveled abroad to his first performances as a DJ. In 2005, he released his debut „Freakdisco EP“ on Freude Am Tanzen, followed by „Envy EP“ on Vakant, and was soon awarded best newcomer of the year by the German music magazine Groove. His two EP’s „Twighlight“ and „Red Cabaret“, found their way into the playlists of itrendsetters such as Sven Väth or Ricardo Villalobos while Onur also gained Europe-wide fame as a skilled DJ. In 2009 he became part of Cocoon’s booking roster.
