The Garage is a dark, concrete bunker below the streets of Leeds city centre, with low ceilings and tight sound…a no nonsense space for a no nonsense guest. We welcome STEFFI to supply the evening’s sounds. Flying in from Berlin for an extended set, the Panorama Bar resident is critically acclaimed as a performer with her finely tuned style and a highly astute ear for groove-led sounds. Her take on modern house and techno has won her a worldwide fan base which has seen her travel the globe whilst continuing to hold down one of the most envied residencies around. As a producer Steffi hit a new high in 2011 with her debut solo album ‘Yours & Mine’ on Berghain and Panorama Bar’s Ostgut-Ton imprint. The album featured the subtle yet captivating sounds that have made Steffi such a favourite and became one of the stand out albums of the year receiving plaudits from almost everyone you’d care to mention and touching discernable dancefloors everywhere. As if that wasn’t enough we have the residents propping up proceedings in inimitable style and the THROWING SHAPES duo take over our Lounge Bar area…even the Easter bunny can’t top that!
