Step up, step up! krankbrother are very proud to announce our boldest party yet - a daytime STREET PARTY right in the heart of Shoreditch on June 9th. That's right - we will be closing down Clifton Street (EC2A) in Shoreditch at both ends, and running a whole afternoon of electronic music, including performances from Wolf & Lamb, Guti, Stimming (Live), Adeline and krankbrothers.
Here at krankbrother, we've always looked on enviously at the fantastic Notting Hill Carnival. We felt strongly that we in East London should be able to celebrate East London's thriving electronic music scene in the same grand tradition of the British Street Party. That is what this event is all about - celebrating East London's diverse and hugely popular dance music scene, all in a wonderful outdoor setting in the heart of Hackney. It's taken a lot of hard work to get the event organised and authorised by the authorities, which makes us even happier to be going ahead with it!
The event will feature a large stage, and all the top end production levels that have become synonymous with all krankbrother events.
FOOD:
There will also be delicious hot food on offer all day including burgers from Kimchi Cult, piadinas from La Piadina Pronta, and fall off the bone pork ribs from The Rib Man! La Piadina Pronta will serve hot, made-to-order Piadina (Italian flat bread) filled with fresh ingredients sourced from local producers. Each Piadina comes with a thin layer of sundried tomato paste, and is filled with your choice of freshly cut meat (parma ham, salami, mortadella), cheese (buffalo mozzarella, stracchino) and salad. The Rib Man will serve up succulent fall of the bone pork ribs served in wraps or buns. Finally, Kimchi Cult will serve up the juciest organic cheeseburgers, kimchi burgers and more. Mmmmmmm.
DRINKS:
On the drinks side, as well as the usual array, we will also be serving some British summer classics like Pimms, Tom Collins and Punch.
LOGISTICS:
The party will run from 1pm - 10pm, and there will be an indoor after-party starting immediately afterwards (tickets & info will be available shortly).

AFTERPARTY:
People - we were never going to let the party finish at 10 pm!
So....after our daytime street party, we'll be moving onto our favorite East London venue which is less than 5 minutes walk away from the street location. The party will take place within a beautiful warehouse space just round the corner, and Sound Services will provide corner stacked Funktion Ones. They'll also be one crazy light show, a well stocked bar and every other level of production that you've got used to at krankbrother.
