To round off 4 full years of events, where we've hosted hundreds of discerning artists (count 'em) and joined the dots between inspiring electronic legends (Silver Apples, Charanjit Singh, Peter Christopherson, Daniele Baldelli), introduced cutting edge talent (Nicolas Jaar, Julio Bashmore, Gold Panda, Jackmaster, Spoek Mathambo, xxxy, Rebolledo) and everyone else in between (Caribou, Four Tet, James Holden, Ivan Smagghe, Actress, Matias Aguayo, Matthew Dear, Levon Vincent, Solomun, Trevor Jackson, Ewan Pearson) we're taking over Corisca Studios on December 1st with a line up comprising of past favourites, future heroes and label artists.
Welcoming back a very special live show from the mighty Oni Ayhun who last performed his hypnotic live set of magic for us back in 2010 and hasn't been seen on these shores again since. Busying himself on other projects in between times, his contribution to Honest Jons excellent Shangaan Electro remix package was a particular highlight around these parts.
Oni is joined by another past guest and co-collaborator, DFA's Planningtorock who blew us away at our Odd Rituals warehouse bash last year. PTR's album is still on regular rotation and we have no doubt she'll be on good form as she'll be joined by another DFA / ONI / PTR affiliated artist, Roxymore who will perform a very special live set.
Our very own Auntie Flo has been doing us proud this year. Following his release of debut album, 'Future Rhythm Machine', he's been impressing audiences over the festival circuit and clubs throughout Europe. He brings a good year to a close in style, with an appearance at the hallowed Panorama Bar and releasing his amazing 'Rituals' EP released on Kompakt / Mule Musiq.
We're willing to wager that within the next year, SOPHIE will require no introduction at all. His debut release will finally drop on the label next month with an impressive list of supporters which already includes Actress, Jimmy Edgar and Jackmaster. His incredible live set never ceases to impress.
DrumTalk has also been a favourite of ours this year with some impressive releases on H&P favourite label, Soundway. His contributions to our '2012 Summer Download' compilation and podcast series have rightly proved to be very popular indeed.
Dusseldorf DJ, Lena Wilikens is a resident at the wonderful Salon Des Amateurs venue. Her mixes are something to behold, look no further than her shows on Cómeme Radio.
DJ duo, Latete Atoto have recently been causing a stir, presenting the party sounds of a certain Glasgow clubbing institution and a formidable French label, in their own unique way to a whole new audience of Londoners.
Please note, with deepest regret Ron Morelli will not be playing on Saturday unfortunately. We hope to bring him back next year.
