To celebrate the 3rd anniversary of The Monkey Bar, we are delighted to offer you two events in two different cities during the same weekend. 3 years of outstanding music, fun, dance and memories that we wanted to share in two of our favourite cities : Berlin and Barcelona. This weekend will also see the birth of our little baby, our record label: THE MONKEY BAR RECORDS! A new story is about to begin...
_BARCELONA_
After a day break, we will land in Barcelona on Sunday 10th to come back to our roots and will provide the soundtrack of the day from 6Pm to 3AM at the Soho Club. It will be a musical jour- ney where we will present our first release straight from its main characters who will be joined by two geniuses from Detroit and our local resident Dj’s.
_LABEL_
The first release of the label will be provided by HINODE, a talented italian duo based in Berlin since a year. Lovers of everything analog, their productions combine both the old and today’s sounds but with the dancefloor as a common denominator. Ranging between Detroit and Chicago, the release remains true to The Monkey Bar’s identity who’s been highlighted in Barcelona by being faithful to these roots.
