- A year of parties felt like a good excuse to do something a bit special for us. So to help us celebrate Part II of our weekend's celebrations we have invited veteran selector Prosumer down to La Cheetah Club for an evening of back-to-back vinyl only business with Berghain and Panorama Bar resident Tama Sumo. ______________________________________________________________ Regarded as one of Berlin’s finest, the renowned house and techno DJ/producer Prosumer aka Achim Brandenburg has been in our sights for some time now and we're over the moon to have him debut for us with such a unique set. His Chicago-Detroit-Berlin creations got their first big break when he dropped the massive The Craze on Playhouse, before moving through labels like 240 Volts and Mobilee and onto his old residency at Berlin’s phenomenal Panorama Bar/Berghain club. Achim is a lover of moving, soulful music at heart, placing his works carefully between the trax from Chicago, Detroit’s techno soul, New York’s rhythm and the sound of now. La Cheetah really is a perfect venue for Prosumer to bring his trademark vinyl only, heart-pumping house to. ______________________________________________________________ Now Kerstin Egert aka Tama Sumo is one of our absolute favourites with a sterling reputation earned by forging an emotional blend of deep house and techno with occasional pinches of acid. Kerstin has always had an exceptional pedigree supporting underground dance music in Berlin and in the last 4 years has crossed over to become an international favourite with a busy diary that takes her to the finest dance floors on the planet. The P Bar resident resident is a true aficionado of house and techno and we can't wait what these two put together for us at La Cheetah.
