Detroit's underground techno comes to Ann Arbor once again.
Doors at 9pm, runs until 2am. 18+. When you enter the club, go straight down stairs if you want to head directly to the techno.
===Annie Hall===
Annie Hall is one of the classics in the Spanish electronic music scene. Her style as a DJ oscillates between idm, electro and techno, combined with dance floor appeal. Her style has landed her gigs long side artists such as Laurent Garnier, Model 500, Dynarec, Rude 66, Legowelt and many more around Europe.
She has resonantly made celebrated live performances at Sonar Barcelona, Bleep 43 in London and at the DEAF festival in Dublin, supporting Model 500. Her melodic form of idm-electro and techno is pressed on vinyl by respected label D1 recordings and more is on the way.. As a producer, she released her first celebrated EP on Dublin based D1 recordings in 2008. Other labels involved in her work are the Minuendo label (Spain), Miga label and Semantica Records (a compilation together with artists such as Jimmy Edgar and Ed Chamberlain) and a recently EP called “Elephant Road” with same label, rightnow is preparing her ep for Detroit Underground.
===Corbin Davis===
Corbin Davis has been a permanent fixture in Detroit techno since the mid 1990′s. Over the years, Corbin has spent countless hours in his studio composing a number releases on world-renowned Detroit record labels such as DetroitUnderground, Hej, ASRX, and DetroitThreads, all while paying his dues as a promoter and DJ at past event series such as “We Like You Humans” and “Friendly Integration.”
In 2007, Corbin collaborated with local friends Chad Parraghi and Nick Bien to create the Detroit-based techno label Blank Code Records, known internationally for their unique record label sound and concept design. Blank Code also gets recognition for their “Scene” event series featuring artists like Truncate, Jay Denham, Tommy Four Seven, Brian Sanhaji, Rrose, DVS1 and Brendon Moeller to name a few. Corbin’s performances have been applauded for his unique style of dark, hypnotic, and industrial techno.
