Lobster Theremin launch their label in raw style with the debut EP from Berlin-based producer, Palms Trax.
Having been a resident of Streets Of Beige for several years alongside Lobster Theremin founder Asquith, Jay Donaldson aka Palms Trax finally sees his Chicago and Detroit-inspired productions pressed to wax. Vinyl only and limited to 500 copies worldwide! He'll be playing an extended solo DJ set with a bit of B2B with Asquith thrown in for good measure.
In support is second LT release artist, Snow Bone. With a much tougher sound drawing on the noisier side of techno and a dark, ethereal drawl that gives a firm nod to the White Material label, he's already gained fans across the board and his rough, analog live set will continue his slamming endeavours in the live sphere.
As founder of Streets Of Beige, Jimmy Asquith has promoted a spectrum of house and techno from Workshop Records to Legowelt to Kyle Hall, Ital, Fred P, Vereker, Clone Records, ItaloJohnson, Lumigraph, Blondes, Chicago Skyway, Beautiful Swimmers A Saggitariun and many more. Continuing in this vein through the medium of vinyl is Lobster Theremin, an imprint for new and emerging international artists of a tougher aural leaning - featuring remix contributions from a spectrum of related artists.
