  • There's something magical brewing in the desert of California. Something pure, something unadulterated. It's a movement of sound, where the love of music and the music of love collide under the stars. Our hearts are beating. We are all Desert Hearts. Desert Hearts is extremely proud to announce our One Year Anniversary of house, techno, and love. Our community has come a long way in the past year and what started as a renegade family gathering in the Mojave, has since evolved into a full blown movement of music, culture, and vibe. With our last collaborative gathering, Tropical Hearts, topping out at 1200+ attendees and rave reviews from some of the best DJs in the world, the sky is the limit as we celebrate our One Year Anniversary of Desert Hearts. Join us this November as we embark on a 60+ hour marathon of house & techno on the West Coast's best Funktion-One sound system. One stage, one vibe. We promise to bring the magic if you promise to bring the love. ♥ Location ♥ We are extremely proud to announce that our One Year Anniversary event will be held at the beautiful La Jolla Indian Campground in Pauma Valley, CA. We held an amazing Tropical Hearts event in the wooded area of the campground in May, but now we're getting back to our roots as Desert Hearts will now take place in the vast Sacred Ceremonial Space of the grounds. Tribal dance ceremonies have occurred in this space for hundreds of years and to be able to share that kind of legacy with our family is a tremendous blessing. Dancing hard is an amazing way to keep warm away from the fire. Bring lots of water and food. Make sure to bring good stakes or re-bar to secure your shade structures and tents. Bring extra blankets, proper lighting and whatever else you need to make your experience the most enjoyable. ♥ Leave No Trace ♥ This is a leave no trace event. Pack it in, pack it out. PLEASE do not leave any bottles or trash by the dance floor/speakers. If you see trash or bottles out on the ground or left out, please help clean it up and keep our desert beautiful. Make sure not to not leave any trash or derbies on tables or out in the open, as the wind might blow it away. Also, it's a good idea to bring two trash bags, one for trash and one for recycling. Please pocket your cigarette butts and pick up any butts if you see them on the ground. No glow sticks or glow sand please!
