Breaking into 2014, Deviation’s first line-up of the year is nothing short of huge. As always, Benji takes the helm collecting a group of talent who all promise serious heights into the year ahead of us.
A DJ’s DJ, Oneman is first to the plate. Truly stepping it up this year (check his Soltaire mixtape releases) Oneman’s trademark genre-hopping sets have shown him to be a DJ with a commendable legion of tastes. Now pretty much a figurehead for institutions like Boiler Room and Rinse FM, he’s arguably one of the UK’s biggest players.
Taking this billing to the next level, Kaytranada has re-captured everyone’s lust for club music. The Canadian producer had an incredible 2013 as his hip-hop-inclined sound saw releases on Bromance and Jakarta. He lands at Deviation as part of his 4-stop European tour. You don’t want to miss him.
Romare (check his African-American inspired dealings on Black Acre Records) heads up Room 2. He’s joined by Yasmin and Joe (Hessle Audio).
