We're excited to announce that 4our will be hosting the return of Steffi to our shores in February 2014, alongside the Australian debut of Ostgut Ton/Panorama Bar colleague Virginia in DJ/live PA mode, for a double bill that promises to be a refreshing immersion into the most cutting edge house and techno. Steffi and Virginia have been touring the globe together to critical and popular acclaim for the better part of the last two years and all reports indicate that when given free reign and the right environment, no dancefloor is safe from these two.
We will be turning the Marrickville Bowling Club into a romantic oasis in an industrial heartland for this Valentine's Day Love Boat Ball costume soirée, and encourage you all to indulge in your tropical fantasies with us while you dance the night away under a jade moon (many nautical miles outside lockout zone). Swoon!
Since we saw her last at our sold out show in 2012, Steffi has maintained a grueling gig schedule while holding down her Panorama Bar residency and running her two labels Klakson and Dolly, as well as releasing her second album, The Power of Anonymity and the Panorama Bar 05 mix. Frequent collaborator Virginia comes from a singer/songwriter background (including some vocal cameos for Jam & Spoon!) and as a result her DJ career has seen her hold down residencies at Sven Väth's Cocoon club, Tobi Neumann's Flokati club and now Panorama Bar. Virginia's eclectic DJ sets feature her spontaneous live vocals, adding a unique layer to the mix.
Support will come from 4our captains Trinity and Magda Bytnerowicz as well as first mate Annabelle Gaspar of Bad Dog fame. Rest assured, your musical cruise is in safe hands.
