Clinic Wednesdays welcomes maeve label boss, The Drifter for his long awaited Los Angeles debut on Wednesday, May 20th 2015.
The Drifter's dj style, like his productions, definitely lean towards the hypnotic, melodic and emotive side of electronic music. No matter what genre he is playing. House, Techno, Disco. He learned his craft from hours of djing in bars and clubs and running clubnights. One such clubnight was Passion Beat, a night he ran in Berlin for over 3 years with his buddy Mano Le Tough. It gathered a loyal, steady following and quickly became known for it's two residents and the guest artists they booked. His reputation as a dj has steadily grown and brought him all over Europe.He runs the record label Maeve together with two of his close friends, Mano Le Tough and Baikal. All three share a similar passion for deep emotive music, and the label has quickly become one to watch, releasing music from Baikal, Mano Le Tough and remixes from Ripperton and Dixon. Maeve 04 Again EP by The Drifter has just been released and is receiving some excellent feedback and being played by the likes of Dixon, Ame, Tale of Us among others.
