Human Pause & Gate are glad to presents their first collaboration on the Montreal scene. These two concepts based on the underground side of electronic music chose to join forces to propose to the scene an unusual experience, both Aurally and visually.
In order to provide such an event we chose to invite not only an artist but a whole project developed by an art collective:
- Polar Inertia (Live) ( DEMENT3D )
Polar Inertia is a hazy entity formed in 2010, appearing at first as an electronic music act. Operating like a White-Out, they have built up a fog that surrounds the nature of their activities.
There strong releases on the renown DEMENT3D records made them appear as an original and researched music collective. Proposing a pure, refined, deep and singular techno. They had their tracks remixed by artists such as Silent Servant, Abdulla Rashim, Francois X and others.
Beyond the music and the records, the members of Polar Inertia are also the authors of texts, photographic works, printed artworks, videos and specific live performances for different context.
They have often been invited to contribute to various revues, editions or art books. Their course of creation thus takes the direction of a polymorphic artistic process, bound to evolve in various fields of contemporary creation.

Human Pause & _Gate sont heureux de vous presenter leur première collaboration sur la scène montréalaise. Ces deux concepts se focalisant à leurs manières sur l'aspect underground de la musique électronique ont choisi d'unir leurs forces afin d'offrir aux passionnés une experience visuelle et auditive originale.
Pour proposer une telle expérience nous avons choisi d'invité, non seulement un artiste, mais tout un projet artistique qui s'étend au-delà de la musique:
- Polar Inertia (Live) (DEMENT3D)
Polar Inertia est une entité abstraite, formée en 2010 et qui apparait sur la scène à travers ses performances musicales électroniques. Évoluant de façon mystérieuse et polyvalente dans leur univers artistique ce collectif a construit une identité flou et à la fois complexe, difficile à aborder et pourtant vite devenue incontournable.
Leurs puissantes sorties sur le label techno parisien DEMENT3D leur ont rapidement apportées une crédibilité au sein de la scene techno internationale. Ayant joué sur pratiquement tous les continents, de l'Asie à l'Amerique en passant par l'Europe. ils ont laissé leur trace dans des endroits légendaires tel que BERGHAIN, TRESOR ou encore Weather Festival, proposant constamment une musique épurée, singulière et profonde. Ils ont vu leur tracks remixés par des artistes comme Abdulla Rashim, Francois X, Silent Servant et autres ..
Au-delà de la musique et de leurs productions, les membres de Polar Inertia sont à l'origine de travaux de natures artistiques diverses: Auteurs de textes, projets photographiques et visuels, video productions ainsi que des performances live plus spécifiques dans différents contextes.
Souvent invités à partager leur vision et à contribuer à l'élaboration de revues variées, ou encore à l'édition de art books, Leur courant créatif se veut prendre la direction d'un processus artistique polymorphe, destiné à évoluer dans plusieurs domaines et secteurs de l'art contemporain.
