Well we did warn you. Week 7 reinforced in a dramatic way what we have been telling you about the thrill machine that is Cocoon 16.
Thank you to everyone that came and danced and made last week one of those Mondays you stick in the diary and say " I was there". 16 was building and building and then off it went last week. Sven opened the terrace to the delight of the early birds and the dancing shoes were strapped on as the clock struck 12. Solomun in Cocoon for the first time. It was not strange, it was brilliant. The cake was iced around 6am when the jammed terrace cheered on a b2b experience that was Ibiza through and through. The club. A different but sonically seductive story. Skream took the bull by the horns and rode it all the way to Henrik Schwarz without pausing for breath. Henrik Live picked up the baton and passed it to Mathias Kaden who put the full stop on what we think was the night of the season so far. Ask anyone who really was there.
The only way is up because this is Cocoon 16 with a bullet and we have more up our sleeves for week 8 and to be honest for every other week this season:
ON THE TERRACE
RICARDO VILLALOBOS
The third Ricardo of the year on his terrace. Week 2 was grand, week 4 was even grander and 4 long weeks later we embark on another voyage with one of the most enigmatic characters dance music has ever seen. There are not many who are destined to leave a giant footprint on a scene, on an era. Cocoon 16 brings you two. The mighty Sven Vath and Mr Ricardo Villalobos
SONJA MOONEAR
By popular demand the return of the hugely talented Sonja, joining Ricardo for the second time this season, and in the middle slot tonight you will get a little further into her groove. Sassy, classy and dangerously addictive
UMHO
A Chilean one two. And there is certainly a connection but Umho brings a quite different hypnotic approach to his dishes. Trust us, you will like it.
IN THE CLUB
EATS EVERYTHING b2b PATRICK TOPPING
You notice the curve balls we are throwing this year? Just to keep everyone on their toes. Tonight Eats Everything is joined by the surging force that is Patrick Topping for some b2b. We for one are dying to see them strut their stuff together and close a big night in the Club
JOY ORBISON
The first Cocoon appearance of someone so hot at the moment you could fry eggs on him. Sunny side up they would be because with a baffling array of influences in the mix the one thing you can be sure of is that there will be dancing

Some of you may just have seen him pop up at Cocoon Tipic on Formentera at the end of last season. We certainly took note and it was time to offer a place on the big stage to a tasty talent who will get things rolling very nicely tonight

Lunes 20 de julio
Os hemos advertido. La Semana número 7 ha reforzado lo que anteriormente os hemos dicho de lo emocionante que es Cocoon 16.
Gracias a todos los que habéis venido y bailado y habéis hecho de la semana pasada uno de esos Lunes que escribiríais en el Diario íntimo “ he estado allí” Cocoon 16 se ha ido armando poco a poco y fue la semana pasada que despegó. Sven abrió la terraza para el deleite de los mas madrugadores y los bailarines comenzaron con su actividad a las 12 en punto. Solomun en Cocoon por primera vez. No fue extraño, fue brillante. La guinda del pastel fue alrededor de las 6 de la mañana cuando una terraza abarrotada, alabó la gloriosa experiencia de un “b2b” que representó a la verdadera Ibiza hasta la médula. El Club. Una historia diferente pero no por eso menos seductora. Skream tomó el toro por los cuernos hasta el turno de Henrik Schwarz sin hacer siquiera una pausa para recuperar el aliento. Henrik cogió el balón con su directo hasta pasárselo a Mathias Kaden quién puso el punto final en lo que pensamos fue hasta el momento, la noche de la temporada. Preguntad a cualquiera que halla estado ahí a ver que os cuentan.
El único camino es hacia arriba porque esto es Cocoon 16, como una bala, y tenemos más ases en la manga para la próxima semana número 8 y para ser honesto, para cada semana de esta temporada.
EN LA TERRAZA
RICARDO VILLALOBOS
El tercer show de Ricardo esta temporada en “su” terraza. La semana 2 fue magnifica y la semana 4 lo fue aún más. 4 largas semanas más tarde nos embarcamos en otro viaje con uno de los personajes más enigmáticos que la música dance halla conocido. No hay muchos que estén destinados a dejar una huella gigante tras su paso, tras una era. Cocoon 16 os trae dos. El todo poderoso Sven Väth y el señor Ricardo Villalobos.
SONJA MOONEAR
Por demanda popular el retorno de la talentosa Sonaja, uniéndose a Ricardo por segunda vez en la temporada y entre medias esta noche descubriréis un poco mas su ritmo. Descarado, con clase y peligrosamente adictivo.
UMHO
Chileno. Sin duda hay una conexión, Umho aporta un enfoque hipnótico muy diferente a los platos. Confiad en nosotros, os va a gustar.
EN EL CLUB
EATS EVERYTHING b2b PATRICK TOPPING
Os dais cuenta de los balones que estamos lanzando este año? Sólo para manteneros a todos en estado de alerta. Esta noche Eats Everything estará unido en un b2b a la fuerza creciente que es Ptrick Topping.. Estamos deseando verles juntos cerrando una gran noche en el Club.
JOY ORBISON
La primera aparición en Cocoon de alguien tan caliente en este momento que hasta podríais freír huevos sobre el. Con una desconcertante variedad de influencias en su mezcla, la única cosa de la cual podéis estar seguros es de que habrá baile.
SUBB-AN
Alguno de vosotros lo habréis visto en Cocoon Tipic en Formentera a finales de la temporada pasada. Ciertamente hemos tomado nota y ya es momento de ofrecer un lugar en el gran escenario a este talento que comenzará la noche.
Ahí lo tenéis entonces. La octava semana, servida en bandeja con una predicción de una noche desenfrenada.

Lunedi 20 luglio
Vi abbiamo avvertiti. La nostra settima serata insieme ha semplicemente confermato il fatto che Cocoon 16 è una macchina perennemente in quinta.
Grazie a tutti coloro che sono venuti a trovarci e che hanno ballato tutta sera. Lunedì scorso rimarrà una data storica, una di quelle feste da segnare sull’agenda e dire “io c’ero”. Il continuo crescendo di energia delle ultime settimane è ufficialmente esploso durante la nostra ultima festa insieme. Sven ha aperto la Terrace per la gioia dei suoi fans più accaniti. Vi abbiamo visti ballare già dalla mezzanotte! Per non parlare di Solomun e il suo debutto a Cocoon. È stato fantastico. L’atmosfera è esplosa quando alle 6 di mattina, Sven e Solomun si sono lanciati in un b2b che ha già fatto il giro dei socials. Nel Club invece, una storia, musicalmente parlando, completamente diversa. Skream ha preso in mano le redini della sala, per poi passarle perfettamente a Henrik Schwarz, il quale le ha poi passate a sua volta a Mathias Kaden. Insomma, una catena di montaggio perfetta. Mathias ci ha stupito ancora una volta e ha aiutato a far si che questa serata rimanga la più stupefacente di quest’anno. Chiedete a chi c’era.
Ormai abbiamo preso il volo e d’ora in poi tutte le serate fino alla chiusura saranno epiche.
NELLA TERRACE
RICARDO VILLALOBOS
La terza serata del 2016 nella Terrace. La sua prima performance è stata grande. La sua seconda ancora di più. Ed eccoci qui a 4 settimane di distanza pronti ad immergersi nel viaggio musicale di uno degli artisti più enigmatici che la musica elettronica abbia mai visto. Non in molti sono destinati a lasciare il segno ma lui sicuramente ci sta riuscendo bene. Cocoon 16 vi regala il sound di Sven Väth e Ricardo Villalobos.
SONJA MOONEAR
A grandissima richiesta, ecco il ritorno della talentuosissima Sonja, la quale si unirà a Ricardo per la seconda volta a Cocoon16. E poiché questa volta suonerà prima di Villalobos, avremo l’occasione di conoscere ancora di più il suo sound groovy. Artista di classe, crea dipendenza.
UMHO
Un altro Cileno in casa Cocoon. Sicuramente c’è una connessione forte tra Cile e Cocoon e grazie ad Umho, conoscerete il lato più ipnotico della sua musica. Fidatevi, vi piacerà.
NEL CLUB

Avete notato che non abbiamo intenzione di rallentare il ritmo? E a proposito di ritmo, a prendersi cura del Club avremo Eats Everything b2b con la stella in ascesa Patrick Topping. Stiamo morendo dalla voglia di vederli chiudere il Club.
JOY ORBISON
Il debutto di un artista che riceve richieste da ogni angolo della terra. Sicuramente non starete fermi. Anzi, mettetevi delle scarpe comode perché siamo sicuri, ballerete parecchio.

Se siete stati alla sua serata Cocoon al Tipic di Formentera l’anno scorso, saprete bene che il ragazzo ha talento da vendere. E ne ha talmente tanto che abbiamo deciso di dargli in mano l’apertura del Club per questa serata.
Questo è quanto. L’ottava settima insieme è alle porte e noi non vediamo l’ora.

Sagt nicht, wir hätten euch nicht gewarnt. In Woche 7 ging es so was von rund – wir erzählen es euch ja schon die ganze Zeit: Cocoon 16 ist Nervenkitzel pur.
Danke an alle, die kamen und tanzten und die Nacht zu einem dieser Erlebnisse machten, die man in seinem Tagebuch rot mit „Ich war dabei“ für die Ewigkeit festhält. Mit jedem vergangenen Montag stieg und stieg die Spannung, und letzte Woche ging das Ding ganz einfach in die Luft. Sven eröffnete zur Freude der early birds die Terrasse, und um Punkt Mitternacht schwangen sich alle in ihre Tanzschuhe. Solomun zum ersten Mal bei Cocoon. Es war nicht kurios, es war brillant. Um 6 Uhr morgens kam dann das Sahnehäubchen auf die Torte, als die beiden auf der voll gepackten Terrasse ein b2b Set spielten, das einfach durch und durch Ibiza war. Der Club. Eine ganz andere Nummer, und doch ebenso verführerisch. Skream packte den Stier bei den Hörnern und beendete seinen Teufelsritt erst für Henrik Schwarz. Henrik übernahm mit seinem Liveset das Staffelholz und übergab es dann an Mathias Kaden, der schließlich die Ziellinie überquerte und damit die wohl beste Nacht der Saison – bis jetzt – beendete. Das kann euch jeder bezeugen, der dabei war.
Aber natürlich geht es immer weiter aufwärts, denn schließlich sind wir hier bei Cocoon 16, und wir haben noch eine Menge Asse im Ärmel. Für Woche 8, und auch für jede einzelne Woche danach:
AUF DER TERRASSE
RICARDO VILLALOBOS
Der dritte Ricardo des Jahres auf seiner Terrasse. Woche 2 war grandios, Woche 4 war sogar noch grandioser, und vier lange Wochen später gehen wir endlich wieder auf die Reise, mit einem der schillerndsten Charaktere, die die Musikwelt zu bieten hat. Nicht viele haben das Zeug dazu, eine ganze Szene, eine ganze Ära zu prägen. Cocoon 16 bringt euch gleich zwei davon. Den großartigen Sven Väth und Mr. Ricardo Villalobos.
SONJA MOONEAR
Auf vielfachen Wunsch hin kehrt heute die überaus talentierte Sonja zu einem weiteren Set mit Ricardo diesen Sommer zurück auf die Terrasse. In der Mitte der Nacht könnt ihr also noch ein bisschen weiter in ihren Groove eintauchen. Quirlig, stilvoll und gefährlich suchterzeugend.
UMHO
Ein chilenisches Duett. Und ja, es gibt da eine Verbindung, aber Umho geht seinen ganz eigenen hypnotischen Weg an den Plattentellern. Ihr werdet es lieben, versprochen.

Habt ihr es eigentlich bemerkt? Wir servieren euch ein Volley nach dem anderen, damit ihr auch schön auf Trab bleibt. Eats Everything verbündet sich heute mit Shootingstar Patrick Topping zu einem b2b Set. Wir für unseren Teil können es kaum erwarten, die beiden zum Finale dieser prickelnden Nacht im Club in Aktion zu erleben.

Heute zum ersten Mal bei Cocoon ein überaus begehrter Mann namens Joy Orbison. Seine Musik ist ein Mix aus erstaunlich vielen Einflüssen, und nur eines ist da ganz sicher: ums Tanzen kommt ihr nicht herum.

So manch einer hat ihn vielleicht letztes Jahr gegen Ende der Saison bei Cocoon Tipic auf Formentera erlebt. Wir haben ihn uns jedenfalls gemerkt und dem talentierten Mann für dieses Jahr einen Platz auf der großen Bühne reserviert, wo er heute Nacht die Dinge ins Rollen bringen wird.
So, da habt ihr es. Die 8. Woche auf dem Silbertablett, und wir garantieren euch eine ausschweifende Nacht.
Wir erwarten euch auf einer der glühendheißen Tanzflächen von Cocoon 16.
