Another week with two floors of amazing music and some pretty amazing artists.
Taking the helm in the main room talented Brisbane DJ Adam Swain who runs the Subtrak parties and Buxton record label will be throwing down some romping house vibes.
Downstairs in the dugout we pay hommage to Australian techno record label IF? Records, with the labels father; Little Nobody, and current label boss; Sebastian Bayne.
A tireless champion of deep and emotive house music, Adam Swain is as passionate a
clubber as he is a DJ, promoter and label owner. His recent foray into the latter with
Buxton Records is a direct reflection of his broad approach in the DJ booth.
Having showcased his refined, high calibre of skill as a warm-up DJ, Swain has
supported the likes of Marcus Worgull, Vincenzo, moomin, Kevin Griffiths,
Jay Shepheard, H.O.S.H., Steve Bug, Lee Burridge and Dixon in his native Brisbane, along with guest spots at Sydney institutions SPICE, S*A*S*H and Circoloco. He has also been making regular headline appearances across Asia since 2010, playing everything from club events and boat parties in Hong Kong to massive hotel rooftop parties and island club events in the south of Thailand with Kolour, plus a more recent debut in Malaysia.
Certainly not to be forgotten, Subtrakt Events - which Swain promotes alongside cohort
Rikki Newton - continues to go from strength to strength with continued appearances
from some of the finest artists from across the globe as it enters its seventh year in
operation.
IF? RECORDS 20th BIRTHDAY TOUR, LITTLE NOBODY HEADLINING
F? Records will host two parties in Australia to celebrate its 20th Birthday. Little Nobody aka Andrez Bergen, IF? Founder.will be headlining for the night.
Little Nobody is one of Australia’s most noted underground electronic artists. Producing music for over
15 years, under a number of guises. In the last couple of years he has worked with internationally
acclaimed artists Aux 88, James Ruskin, Blake Baxter as well as Australia’s own electronic music
pioneers, Severed Heads. These shows will be Little Nobody’s last gigs, as he is retiring from DJing
after the tour.
Joining him in Sydney will be IF? Records label boss and Tresor regular, Sebastian Bayne.
