Subtrakt Events are thrilled to announce that Sistrum Recordings label owner, Patrice Scott, will be joining them for their 8th birthday celebrations this November.
Patrice Scott is one of Detroit's top deep house/techno producers and also label owner of the much respected Sistrum Recordings. Having influences from local area artists and disc jockeys such as Juan Atkins, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson and the Electrifying Mojo (Charles Johnson), has played a factor in shaping Patrice's musical direction.
Sistrum Recordings was launched in October of 2006 with the first release being Patrice's own "Atmospheric Emotions". Receiving rave reviews from many far and abroad, the labels releases have continued to find themselves in the record bags of the likes of Levon Vincent, Efdemin, DJ Fader, Lawrence, Fred P and many more.
As always, Subtrakt Events have hand picked some of Brisbane's finest to support the special occasion. Xavier Roussèt, Jengis Köse and Baax will join Subtrakt residents Adam Swain and Rikki Newton for an evening that's not to be missed.
