A legend in his own respect, Nick Höppner is one of the backbones of the electronic music scene.. in Germany and beyond. Known for his coveted residency at Panorama Bar [Berghain] from day one, Nick has played an integral part in shaping the evolution of this world renowned institution. Being at the helm of the club's creative force, he has also led their in-house label [Ostgut Ton] towards what it has become today. Undoubtedly, this has allowed him to distill a wide range of influences into his DJ sets and productions.. allowing him to create more and more refined creations that transcend genres. We're lucky to have him here for his debut performance in Toronto.
Also known for his varied and refined approach, Gera has been a constant figure in Toronto's scene. With his long-standing residency at Coda and its predecessor Footwork, he's developed a solid reputation for tastefully blending in the right music for the right time. We don't need to look much further than the artists that Gera's shared the bill with to see the level of respect he has earned in the scene.. artists that include Nicolas Jaar, John Talabot, Damian Lazarus, and Gerd Janson. He definitely knows a thing or two about setting the tone properly and we know he's right choice for this night.
