We here at Minival are ready to sink some ships as we open up season 9 in marvellous style!!
For the first time in Aberdeen, we welcome the world renowned, Danilo Plessow aka MOTOR CITY DRUM ENSEMBLE! Playing limited events per month, its taken us ages to secure this booking, a perfect vibe setter for our space at Codonas. Its rare that he plays a record thats anything less than phenomenal, whether its house, disco, soul, or krautrock, a classic or an obscurity—and the way he stitches them together is damn near flawless. Adding to the line up are our good friends Death On The Balcony, who famously destroyed Snafu some many years ago, so its great to have them back up north!! Further support from our ever great resident team! We can’t wait!
