Like others in New York, BlkMarket Membership has been charting the rise of Good Room, and as their bookings reach a quality crescendo, we are happy to announce our first event at a club whose reputation is sure to keep growing. Once a duo with partner Marcus Henriksson, Minilogue is now the work of Sebastian Mullaert alone, but it does very little to change the list of accomplishments of this producer, either as a member of his famed duo, in other groups, or solo. Mullaert has a long string of releases on Ovum, M_nus, Mule Electronic, Kontra-Musik, and others, a finely crafted discography that charts his explorations of minimal techno and house fused with deep ambient spheres of sound. With two albums on Cocoon and singles on important sources like Wagon Repair, Traum Schallplatten, and many others, Minilogue is easily the most famous of his projects, but it is also consistent with his other work, while bridging the gap into bigger ideas and bigger rooms. Known as the main force behind Hallucination Limited, his own offshoot of seminal American underground label Hallucination, DJ Three has been primarily responsible for carrying on the imprint’s legacy to the present day with its current evolution as Hallucienda. His own discography includes perennial underground staples from Second Hand Satellites and the ‘Three A.M. Burning Spear’ mix of Rabbit In The Moon’s ‘Out Of Body Experience’. As a DJ, he has left an indelible impression on the worlds most discerning dance floors, very notably in New York where he held residencies for Twilo, Robots and Output while playing some of BlkMarket Membership’s best events. Italy-to-NYC transplant Simon Wish is celebrating his birthday this night with a special, all-night set in the Bad Room, and joined by residents Taimur & Fahad, Blkmarket Membership is making a stylish entry into one of New York’s best upcoming clubs.
