Growing up within the deep-rooted music scene in England’s Manchester, British house and techno DJ and producer Trus’me aka David James Wolstencroft developed an early passion for record collecting, kick-starting his devotion to eclectic, electronic music from a bitter young age.
His debut album ‘Working Night$’, released on Fat City Recordings garnered attention from key figures in the English electronic music scene such as Gilles Peterson and Juan Atkins, with many hailing the album as “timeless”. Not long afterwards Trus’me set up his Prime Numbers label, featuring artists releases from the likes of Move D, Actress, Linkwood, Fundge Fingas and Motor City Drum Ensemble.
This February he brings deep, soul and disco-edged brand of house music to C.U. Saturdays at Civic Underground for an unforgettable night of musical indulgence… Trus[t]’Me.
