Making Shapes and Far Away present an official FYF afterparty. Joining forces with Prototype, at the Arts District’s Lot 613. We whisk Running Back label head, Gerd Janson swiftly across the city from FYF for a rare intimate LA appearance. Coming in hot off the heels of his soon to be released 89th installment of the fabric mix series, we find the Robert Johnson and Panorama Bar resident in fine form. Known for his wide ranging eclectic sets, across the spectrum of house, disco, groove and beyond. His sets are consistently unpredictable and always deliver on the dance floor like no others, making him one of the most sought after and taste maker selectors in the scene.
Jetting in to the city just for the night’s shenanigans are the Tel Aviv duo, Red Axes. Arguably one of electronic music’s more diverse and exciting duos, their performances never fail to surprise and electrify the dance floor in an inimitable style. Their approach to DJ’ing and performing live has brought them critical acclaim and taken them the world over. In the studio, their distinct sound has notched them up releases with Hivern Discs, Permanent Vacation, Crosstown Rebels and LA’s very own ESP Institute.
Rounding up the bill are Making Shapes and Far Away’s residents, Sonns, Jeniluv and Jen Ferrer.
