Just in time to draw out the last drops of summer, the curators behind PrototypeLApresent Diversion, an open-air block party in the Arts District of Los Angeles. Utilizing the block of Imperial Street along with the entire Lot 613 complex, Diversion will create a unique space within the urban landscape for revelers to imbibe sunshine and fresh air along with an exemplary line-up of talent.
Co-hosted by Culprit and Making Shapes, Diversion will have Dixon, KiNK (LIVE), Danny Daze, Weval (LIVE), Droog, and Jeniluv all set to take their turn behind the wheel on the main Imperial Street stage. Hailing from the far corners of the earth including Germany, Bulgaria and Miami, this first-class selection of electronic music's finest will take DTLA's Arts District on a sonic and sensory adventure through house, techno and beyond.
Accompanying the main stage will be a full lineup of local LA house acts inside of Lot 613 including Cooper Saver b2b Jen Ferrer (Far Away), Matt Damon (Damon Eliza Palermo [100% silk] & Matt McDermott [States of Being]), Benedek b2b Jamma Dee (Peoples Potential Unlimited, Leaving Records, Arcane). This room is going to be all house, disco and grooves. Lastly, Diversion will be taking full advantage of The Springs, an entirely organic and vegan restaurant in the vicinity of Lot 613 where there will be an ambient lounge with Matthewdavid (Leaving Records, Brainfeeder) DJing and Earthen Sea (Lovers Rock, Other People) playing live. The space will be set up with shade, cushions, beanbags and sofas, making it the perfect place to zone and space out, away from the house and techno elsewhere.
