Our final event of 2016 sees us return to our new home, The Steelyard - a perfect setting for this most serious of techno lineups. We are extremely proud to welcome two of the UK's finest ever musical exports who have continued to push boundaries in their careers that have spanned more than 20 years - Surgeon and Regis. Joining them will be one of the scenes most sought after and secretive figures, Rrose, who after being let loose by Sandwell District back in 2011 has quickly become one of the most consistent and followed artists within techno.
Surgeon is an act who we have coveted it seems like for an eternity, and we finally have our man. Many words can be used to described his music; seminal, unique, industrial, pioneering - the list goes on, and rightly so. Few artists command the level of respect that Surgeon does and it has come from career littered with genre defining tracks and sets. Having released on the likes of Downwards, Tresor, Blueprint and Token, his back catalogue is extremely impressive to say the least. As a DJ he is revered, experimental in nature, he utilises technology in such a unique way that it truly is something special to see him play.
Surgeon will be joined by his old friend, Regis. It's a very rare occasion for these two to share a line up in London, even more so since they put their legendary British Murder Boys project to bed, so we are extremely grateful to welcome this legendary pair. Label owner and prolific producer, Regis has been a bastion of the scene for over 20 years, adored by fans and peers alike. His Downwards imprint has been responsible for some of techno's biggest releases and continues to push the scene forwards. A true legend and creative powerhouse of techno, we are beyond excited to have him down.
Rrose is a figure surrounded in mystery but his music has certainly stood out in recent years. A complex blend of atmospheric and industrial, this impressive producer has been at the very forefront of a new wave of producers. A string of releases on Eaux and Sandwell District earned him support from the likes of Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann, with his sets earning him plaudits for their driving, uncompromising nature.
Room 2 will see a collection of the capital's best loved parties represented, with the likes of A.R.M, Bade Records, Grey:Matter and On The 5th Day all supporting.
