Fabric very rarely open their doors to outsiders, so it’s with excitement we announce The Hydra will take over the London nightclub for an evening with Blueprint Records on the April Bank Holiday Thursday.
The legendary Underground Resistance will join label head James Ruskin at the top of this billing as they present ‘Depth Charge’. An ongoing extension of the Underground Resistance legacy headed by Mad Mike and Mark Flash; the pair will re-examine their uncompromising take on Detroit electronic music.
Live performance plays a huge part in this line-up too. Fellow Detroit natives Octave One, Gerard Hanson aka Convextion and Warp’s B12 all ready shows.
Another US export Truncate reaches the billing sitting alongside homegrown UK talent Tessela (who takes a break from his latest Overmono venture) and Contort boss Samuel Kerridge.
Having been founded in 1996 (inspired by the raw sound of Underground Resistance), Blueprint Records celebrate 21 years at the forefront of the British techno scene.
Sharing the same thirst for techno, The Hydra and James Ruskin’s imprint have enjoyed a longstanding relationship. This latest undertaking builds on their history of parties together (there’s no forgetting their now traditional August Bank Holiday sessions) – we can’t wait.
