House-n-Home is a back-to-basics loft party with amazing talent,
a sound system that will make your head spin, cheap drinks, and
the kind of vibe we feel is sadly missing in the NYC electronic
music community at the moment. The first few House-N-Home parties
brought out a nice cross section of the house community, the
dancers scene, and the after-hours techno heads, and everyone
left happy.
Levon Vincent was undoubtedly one of the artists on the tip of
everyone's tongue in 2008, and 2009 looks set to be a huge
breakout year for him. But make no mistake about it, Levon is
anything but a newcomer to the scene. He's been a DJ since 1993,
and ran the More Music NY label from 2002 to 2006, releasing 4
of his own 12"s, one of which was even picked up by Josh
Wink's Ovum imprint. He worked at Halcyon in Brooklyn for many
years, at one point doing all of the buying with House-N-Home's
own Anthony Parasole. In 2008, he founded Deconstruct Music with
Anthony along with Novel Sound, his own label. With just two
hand stamped 12"s out on each label, he has caught the attention
of all of the major players in the scene, appearing on mixes by
Marcel Dettmann, Ben Klock, Cassy, and many others, and will be
playing at Berghain, Fabric, and Robert Johnson soon. We are
proud to present Levon for his first NYC gig in quite some time.
DJ, Artist, and Remixer extraordinaire Fred P is the mind behind
Black Jazz Consortium and the owner of Soul People Music.
Recording for a wide range of labels, most notably DJ Jus-Ed's
Underground Quality, Fred P has gained a following of true deep
house lovers all over the world. Staying true to his sound and
vibe makes him a unique contributor to this genre. Fred is a
mysterious man of few words, choosing to let the deep personal
vibe of his music speak for him. With such a prolific output of
amazing music, it's clear that Fred has a lot to tell us, and
you'll be hearing a lot more in years to come.
