ClubClass New Years Day Special

  • ClubClass is back. Back in Maidstone. Back with a lineup which is just plain sick. Ever since we held our last night four months ago we told you all that you hadn’t seen a thing yet and that 2006 would be our greatest year to date. So lets not mess about. Lets see if we can deliver on our promises. We’re confident that you won’t be disappointed… For on Sunday 1st January 2006, we kick off the New Year with an almighty bang. A lineup that makes this party one of the most eagerly awaited in our history. ClubClass resident Nic Fanciulli makes a much heralded return to his home town following the completion of his Renaissance world tour, bringing with him ten awesome DJs all looking to impress, all ready to take the acid test. Joining Nic in the main room will be headliner and ClubClass debutant James Zabiela. It’s taken some time for James to appear for us and after a couple of false starts we are thrilled that we’ll be able to finally showcase his incredible talents. James is undoubtedly one of the most exciting and technologically advanced jocks we’ve ever seen and was recently rewarded for his skills and graft by coming 13th in DJ Mag’s Top 100 poll. His sets incorporate the finest house, techno and breaks, all delivered in a unique fashion that has a devastating effect both on nodding your heads and shaking your hips. James will be joined by the acid riff’s, stabbing syth’s, rumbling b-lines and shut up and dance mentality of Alex Tepper and Phil Dockerty aka Futureshock. We’ve been waiting for the first conceivable opportunity to bring this duo back to ClubClass since they destroyed our dancefloor back in August and we expect similar carnage this time round. Finally completing the main room action will be Saved Record’s James Talk, fresh from receiving props in DJ Mag’s Top 100 issue from Fanciulli, Fergie and Kleinenberg, all of which chose James as their breakthrough artist for 2006. Futurism again returns to the back room for ClubClass, showcasing yet more of the UK’s finest rising DJ talents. Headlining the room will be Luke Dzierzek and Nick Liousias, otherwise known as Fling. Their dirty, electronic house sound has been causing some serious waves as of late, following support of their productions from the likes of Sasha and Steve Lawler. Luke has further cemented his position as ‘one to watch’ following the release of his critically acclaimed solo works ‘Echo’, ‘One Day’ and ‘Timeless.’ Their DJ sets aren’t bad either (as those who attended New Mix at River a few weeks back will testify), so those looking to see whether they can convey the devastation they’re causing in the studio onto the dancefloor will not be disappointed. Completing the Futurism lineup will be Sam Ball, just one night after he plays the Cross Central NYE Warehouse party alongside the likes of Laurent Garnier, Francois K and 2 Many DJs, Electric Playground’s jackin’ house maestro John Barber and the broken house of teenage prodigy Mark Fanciulli. This will be the biggest New Years Day party Kent has EVER has seen. Let the countdown begin… For more info and paying guestlist: (t) 01622 753700 (e) [email protected]
