Blondes celebrate the release of their new album, 'Warmth' at Good Room on 09.30. Following the release on R&S on 08.11, ‘Warmth’ finds them further stripping away extraneous elements, pushing their percussive framework to the forefront. The result is lysergic techno fused with Blondes’ characteristic synth-work and atmospherics. Despite being a decade into their relationship, New York based duo Blondes continue to find inspiration through hardware instrumentation and improvisation.
They'll be playing live at Good Room where Disco Halal founder Moscoman is co-headlining the party. The music producer behind underground hits on ESP Institute, Correspondant, I'm a Cliche, Eskimo Rec, and the curator and owner of the upand coming record label, Disco Halal. Mosco's distinctive sound, which takes in elements ofTechno, New Wave, House, and the sounds of his native Middle East, has seen him quickly soar to prominence via his own production, his remix work, and his DJing style, and has now further been cemented by the success of Disco Halal, a label which aims tonot only shine a light on lost musical curiosities from his own culture, but also tore-sculpt them for a modern dance floor.
They will be joined by Fixed's JDH & Dave P on warm up. John Barera & Will Martin are celebrating the release of their new record in the Bad Room. 'Proceed To The Root' will be out on 2MR on 09.22 and is the second full length album for the house and techno producers. They will be joined by special guest Love Letters.
