Cutting his teeth at block parties around Chicago playing disco, funk, soul and prototype Chicago house tracks, he has since become one of the cities most enduring producers who can lay claim to one of the most dynamic and far reaching personal histories in dance music. He is also an absolutely legendary DJ.
He's released tracks on Nervous Records, Traxx Underground, TRIBAL AMERICA, Clone Records, Robsoul Recordings & Defected Records and keeps company with the likes of Larry Heard aka MR Fingers, Ron Hardy, Chosen Few Djs and Armando and has produced tracks for Syleena Johnson, Byron Stingley, Kool Rock Steady and Kym English to name a few. His distinctive vocals and trademark hip-house & acid production style have led to a discography filled with some of the most important records in the history of house music. These tracks expanded the genre into new territory and are still on high rotation in clubs to this day.
He is a force to be reckoned with, a pioneer of Chicago house music and one of the most exciting DJs we've hosted to date.
