CockTail d'Amore founders, Queer dance culture icons and truly special DJ duo Discodromo take over The Pickle Factory on 30th September, for a marathon b2b voyage into Golden Age disco, Chicago machine funk and obscure Italo sleaze, supported by DISCOSÓDOMA founder Stathis.
Italian duo Giacomo Garavelloni and Giovanni Turco, better known as Discodromo, are rightly regarded as the figureheads of Berlin's Queer dance scene. Together with Berghain resident Boris they founded CockTail d'Amore, a monthly music-focused gay party that since 2012 has been housed in the main space and cavernous garden of former Neukölln steel mill Griessmuehle. Under Discodromo's careful guidance, CockTail has flourished into Berlin's seminal Queer soirée, whose tasteful music curation and loose, friendly, anything goes atmosphere ranks among the city's very best. More recently, the boys have expanded CockTail into a record label, and began throwing regular parties in Lisbon's acclaimed Lux Fragil. On 30th September, Discodromo bring CockTail d'Amore's inimitable vibe to The Pickle Factory for an extended b2b session.
