1983年にイギリスで創刊されたクラブミュージック専門誌「Mixmag」。30年を超える歴史において、シーンの最前線を伝え、 牽引し、世界的な影響力を持つメディアとしての地位を確立。 現在、世界中に14の支部を持ち、各国で展開するグローバルブランドが15番目の支部としてここ日本に上陸。 そして、その「Mixmag Japan」ローンチに伴い、ゲストにはテクノシーンの歴史に刻んだ“RED”の創出、そして“男爵”との称号 を持つ DAVE CLARKE (デーブ・クラーク)が、14年ぶりのアルバム“The Desecration of Desire”のリリースと共に来日。 世界的フェス、「TOMORROWLAND」の常連 DAVE CLARKE、そして2017年、日本人初出演の快挙を果たした日本が世界に誇る KEN ISHII との共演がこの Mixamag Japan ローンチパーティーにて披露される。
更に、Q'HEY、DJ AKi、DJ MAAR、DJ KYOKO、PUNKADELIX、ALYN や LICAXXX など国内外、第一線で活躍するアーティスト達が集結する。Mixmag Japan が提唱するグローバルな世界観を是非とも体感頂きたい。
Born out of the UK in the 1983, Mixmag has become the world’s premiere source of music, culture, and entertainment reporting. It has evolved to become one of the most influential media outlets in the music industry, covering breaking music related news through digital media, video streaming, and events throughout the past 30 years. Mixmag is a global brand with offices around the world delivering original content in different languages. "Mixmag Japan" is arriving as Mixmag’s 15th global office.
Due to the Media Launch, Mixmag Japan is having a launch party headlined by “The Baron of Techno” Dave Clarke, who is known for the most iconic Techno album “RED” and also releasing the brand new album “The Desecration of Desire” after 14 years. Ken Ishii, who performed at “Tomorrowland 2017” as the first Japanese DJ, will also be performing on the same floor.
Other well known DJs who are active in the domestic and global underground music scene will be gathered here and will be performing at the launch party. These DJs include DJ Q-HEY, DJ AKi, DJ MAAR, PUNKADELIX, ALYN and LICAXX. You will sure be able to get the feel of what “Mixmag Japan” sounds like.
