The final party in our Autumn/Winter series sees us celebrate 7 Years of Lumberjacks in Hell at Corsica Studios & The Colombian.
Lumberjacks in Hell are quickly gaining a reputation as the home of the finest soulful house and slick disco edits and we’re very excited to be welcoming the full crew for their first label party in London since 2014.
Heading up proceedings is a man responsible for one of the dancefloor hits of the summer, Baltimore’s Karizma. A member of Pete Tong’s Radio 1 Hall of Fame, his track ‘Work it Out’ has been a mainstay of DJ’s record bags since its release earlier this year. Karizma is a mean force on the turntables and we're very much looking forward to hearing what's in store.
Joining Karizma is Dan Shake. Perhaps best known for being the first non-Detroit based musician to release on Moodymann’s iconic label, Mahogany Music, Dan Shake has been quietly working up a reputation as one of the most versatile and in-demand DJs around. We booked Dan for one of his first ever sets and are super stoked to see him doing so well; we can’t wait to have him back as a Lumberjack.
We couldn’t throw a Lumberjacks party without inviting down the head honcho, Marcel Vogel. Marcel has played for us so many times now we consider him a friend and can’t wait to hear him dig deep within Corsica’s fabled arches.
Our residents, Jonny X, Mr. Grigio & Jonny Bottomley will be holding things down in room 2 all night long with an eclectic mix of disco, house and soul classics.
