- What's not to love about this? Some of the best UK-based DJs celebrate one of the UK's best parties, with money raised for two very good causes.
- We're celebrating 7 years of Acetate at Wire, and we will be raising money for two very worthwhile causes at the same time. First is Leeds Food Bank which is run by a charity called the Trussell Trust. The Trussell Trust runs a network of over 400 foodbanks, giving emergency food and support to people in crisis across the UK, where thirteen million people live below the poverty line. In the last year they gave 1,182,954 three day emergency food supplies to people in crisis. Second is Music and Arts Production (MAP). MAP is an arts centre based in Leeds that offers young people access to art and music courses and opportunities ranging from experience in graphics and illustration through to lyric writing and music production. All learners are supported in return to mainstream education by returning to school or progressing to further education. All DJs are playing for expenses, Wire will be chipping in too, and RA will be donating 70% of the ticket booking fees.
