In the words of the man himself, Detboi makes ‘music your mum and dad won’t like’ (unless your rents like gully riddums that is). Known for his deep, rumbling basslines and infectious breaks, Detboi’s unique sound could be described as a 130bpm jungle fusion with production levels that would leave anyone’s jaw open. The Dublin man has been around the block and back again; first releasing through On The Brink Recordings over a decade ago, he’s had multiple releases through Cheap Thrills Records, Keysound and more recently a flurry of 2 huge EP’s on the mighty Metalheadz. Expect nothing less than pure bass face material from his headline set in October!

It’s impossible to pigeon hole Werkha’s music, but ‘electro jazz house’ will do for now! The unique concoction of influences within his sound make him a perfect fit for a Beeswaxx show, especially with his previous recognition from industry legend, Gilles Peterson, back in 2012 following the release of his debut EP ‘Cube & Puzzle’ on Cool Kid Music. Following that Werkha has boasted multiple releases on the Tru Thoughts imprint and we can’t wait for the energy and vibes he’s going to bring.

Beeswaxx resident Inka continues to build himself as an artist and is starting to get the recognition he deserves. Following the success of his debut album ‘Waveydon Ballads’, released through Beeswaxx, he has become a popular booking for shows across the country and will also be shelling down the beach at Outlook Festival this year! Although Inka production is nothing short of music for the mind, body and soul, he’s an animal on the 1s and 2’s so be sure to catch him on the night.

ABC have played at all of our previous shows for the simple reason that they bring the house down every time. They’re a four piece collective based in Manchester consisting of two insanely soulful vocalists and two highly talented musicians. With the musical knowledge and adaptability that they possess, their presence on stage is a force to be reckoned with.
