For this party, SEQUENCE sought out DJs and producers from a more sinister realm, beginning with industrial-driven up-and-coming producer Phase Fatale. This veteran of the darkwave scene began his identity through a flurry of releases on Ostgut Ton, Jealous God, and coming this fall an album on Hospital Productions. In addition to collaborations with Silent Servant, Phase Fatale toured the world’s top venues, eventually landing a coveted slot closing the Berghain club earlier this year. His sound perfectly captures the worlds of punk, EBM, and techno, culminating in dark, ferocious DJ sets, without a dull moment. To complement this rising talent, SEQUENCE selects L.A.G. label boss Arthur Kimskii for a special DJ performance. Recently relocating back from Berlin, Arthur haunts the most sought after venues, most recently playing alongside for Abdulla Rashim and Nina Kraviz at Schimanski. Returning to SEQUENCE is Oblivion party starter, Lyceum, as he opens the evening with his unique blend of drum and bass, hypnotic techno, and experimental sounds. Juana rounds out the bill fresh off the decks and dancefloors of Unter and Hot Mass. All taking place in a dungeon in NE DC this Halloween, SEQUENCE could not be more thrilled to usher in its sophomore year with these prodigious talents.
