With the Romanian sound being such a focus of ours this year and Austin being so accepting of it, we decided to close out our first year of events by booking one of the most talented DJ/Producers Romania has to offer. Notoriously, The godfathers and central figures of the Romanian sound are Raresh, Petre Inspirescu and Rhadoo but once you get passed them and start looking at the next generation of key players in that scene, undoubtedly the name Priku will be mentioned by many. One of the most dynamic DJs in minimal, Priku is known for his unique mixing style that includes aggressive grooves, tripped out melodies, elegant dubs and a wide range of sounds that other djs in this scene won't even dare to use. Not only an incredibly talented DJ but also one of the most prominent producers Romania has to offer, he has had an opportunity to release tracks on labels like [a:rpia:r]], All Inn Records, Concrete Music, EASTENDERZ, Pressure Traxx his own Atipic and many others. It is a true honor to be hosting this master of the minimal sound in Austin- this is one you definitely do not want to miss!
Also joining us for this momentous occasion will be a very talented DJ/Producer from Venezuela but based in Miami, Lou Flores! Lou has been a key figure of the Miami nightlife scene for over 15 years, with residencies in clubs such as Space, Treehouse and Heart. His time in Miami and involvement with one of the top underground event companies in North America, Un_Mute, have given him the opportunity to share the stage with other staples of the underground scene, names like Barac, Cap, Bella Sarris, Argenis Brito, Enzo Siragusa, Molly, Martin Buttrich, Gescu, Maayan Nidam, Guy Gerber, to name a few. In recent years he has also started a career as a producer, quickly finding success with releases on labels like Drumma, Vatos Locos, Samani Music, 4Plae Records, Vandalism Black, and others. Very excited to be welcoming Lou to Austin, we know he's going to bring the heat!
Majiini, Chklte and Varela will be rounding out this already stacked lineup.
