- Collaboration has played a big part in Jonny Nash’s career so far. He was a DJ with the legendary Tokyo DJ collective Discosession. He has released music as one half of Land of Light with Kyle Martin, and as Sombrero Galaxy with Tako Reyenga of Amsterdam’s Redlight Records and label Music from Memory. Last year he joined Young Marco and Italian ambient and new age pioneer Gigi Masin to produce the LP Clouds as Gaussian Curve. Individually Nash has released music on labels such as ESP Institute and his own Melody As Truth imprint. Late October sees Jonny and Lindsay Todd's collaborative album project 'Fauna Mapping', dropping on Bali-based Islands Of The Gods imprint, so this seems like a damn good excuse for pre-release knees up! As an aside, don't be fooled by Jonny's penchant for 80s new age ambient; he loves to crack out the bangers and get his David Guetta thousand yard stare on!
