MUTEK, international festival of digital creativity and electronic music, adds a new node to its network this year with a first edition in: UAE_Dubai.

Launched in Montréal in 2000 and now established in Mexico City, Tokyo, Barcelona and Buenos Aires, MUTEK’s internationalism is characterized by a commitment to discovering contemporary forms and artists, and connecting the local with the global to create a circuit and a community that extends around the world.

This first MUTEK.AE underlines the organization’s focus on live performance and emphasis on the art of electronic and digital creativity. Headlined by international heavy-hitters Jeff Mills and Dasha Rush, featuring local and regional artists, and augmented with the presence of Québec-based artists, VJs and scenographers.

MUTEK.AE will also host discussions, workshops and networking opportunities that will be of immense benefit to anyone interested in digital creativity and electronic music in the region.

يضيف موتيك، المهرجان الدولي للإبداع الرقمي والموسيقى الإلكترونية، حلقة جديدة لشبكته هذا العام عبر حدثه الأول في: الإمارات العربية المتحدة_دبي.

يتميز مهرجان موتيك الدولي، الذي أسس في مونتريال في العام ٢٠٠٠ قبل أن ينتقل إلى المكسيك و طوكيو و بارسيلونا و بوينس آيرس، بالتزامه بتعزيز التعلم بالاكتشاف و الأشكال المعاصرة والفنانين، و ربط الموسيقى المحلية مع العالم لخلق محيط و مجتمع عالمي. تأخذ مدينة دبي، المدينة الأكثر إستقطاباً للسياح و الأكثر نموا في الشرق الأوسط خطوة كبرى نحو مستقبل عصري لعدد كبير من الشباب من مختلف أنحاء المنطقة.

ويعزز هذا الحدث الأول لموتيك في الإمارات العربية المتحدة تركيز المنظمة على الأداء الحي وعلى القدرات الفنية الإلكترونية والرقمية. يتصدر المهرجان أكبر الفنانين العالميين جيف ميلز وداشا راش، كما سيحظى الفنانين المحليين والإقليميين من خلاله بفرصة نادرة لعرض مواهبهم بدعم من عدد من الفنانين و ألفي جيهات و مصممي المسرح القادمون من كيبيك. منظمو المهرجان متحمسين لإطلاق أول حدث لموتيك في دبي.

سوف يستضيف موتيك في الإمارات العربية المتحدة أيضا مناقشات وورش العمل و ستقدم فرص تواصل ذات فائدة كبيرة لأي شخص مهتم في الإبداع الرقمي والموسيقى الإلكترونية في المنطقة.
