We are very excited to announce the line-up for our first installment of FringeWorthy! Our aim with this night is to provide a home for experimental bass music to thrive on a world-class sound system, and we couldn’t think of a better place than The Black Box to do that.. For our first event, we welcome Houston-based producer and founder of Halcyon Veil, RABIT!
For the past few years Rabit has steadily worked his way up through the underground, via a series of releases, each one signaling a shift into increasingly bolder and more challenging territories. He's been at the center of some of the most exciting, emerging electronic 'scenes', sharing ties with both the Berlin based, dance deconstructionists of Janus (Lotic, M.E.S.H.) and with UK based grime experimentalists like Mumdance and Logos. Pushing grime, rap, and experimental music to new levels, Rabit has found a niche all his own, operating on the fringes of dance music as he steadily cuts a path into newfound musical territories and reshapes “club” sounds into something alien and unpredictable. With a new arsenal of original productions to compliment his prior releases, the stage is set for a monumental performance at one of America’s best underground venues.
