Embrace is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual TIME Festival at Sound Academy in Toronto on Saturday, July 25, 2009!
Coming off the critically acclaimed inaugural event at Sunnyside Pavilion in 2008, TIME Festival has fast become Toronto’s premier summer dance/indie music festival focusing on the most cutting- edge, exciting artists in music today. With performances scheduled over four stages and a late curfew, Time Festival 2009 is set to once again deliver a world class music festival experience.
The ON TIME stage will feature a live performance by Toronto favourites Crystal Castles, DJ sensation A-Trak as part of his Infinity + 1 tour, Ed Banger Records’ DJ Mehdi, Chicago breakout stars Flosstradamus and MIA' protigee Rye Rye from Baltimore. Rounding out the main stage action will be locals Parallels, Andy Ares, Milano, Nasty Nav, TMDP, DuVall and Vaneska. Hosted by A.D/D.
The TIME OUT stage will feature Detroit techno superstar Jeff Mills performing a rare Toronto appearance and local DJ’s Jamie Kidd, Nitin, Evan G., Johnny White, Kenny Glasgow, Brandon Sek and Jeff Button. Hosted by Platform.
The GOODTIMES Stage will be headlined by San Francisco’s own house music superstar Mark Farina and locals NuFunk DJ’s. Hosted by GERBZ & Nu Funk.
To round out the 2009 line-up, the ELECTRIC YOUTH ROOM will feature Dim Mak’s Felix Cartal, France’s Don Rimini, Barletta, Meech, Egyptrixx, Bangers & Mash and Gingy!
