- From January through March, Artwork plays each Friday for his '13 Works of Art' XOYO residency... Dubstep rarely gets a mention without a reference to the infamous Big Apple Records store in Croydon. The shop credited as the hub where the genre came to fruition from a sound somewhere between the darker recesses of 2 step garage and the sub-heavy vibrations dub and roots. Acting as a forum for some of the scene's biggest players from the likes of Skream and Benga to Hatcha, Mala and Coki, its here where Artwork first began to garner the reputation he deserved as a pioneer and production genius. Get ready for a long overdue reunion with some very very special guests. ___ Admission to XOYO is at management's discretion, advance tickets do not guarantee entry. If entry is refused to a ticket holder, you can obtain a full refund (minus booking fee) by contacting XOYO after the event at [email protected].
