- For our first weekend date at Wire, and to celebrate the end of January exams for the students among us, we've decided to push the boat out with a trio of extremely special guests! Hessle Audio's Pangaea becomes our first returning booking in Leeds. He's back in our favourite basement one year on from selling out the venue in double-quick time before beating us into submission with three hours of mesmerising techno - we can't wait to see how he floors us this time! He's joined by Willow who, in the time since her breakthrough track 'Feel Me' came out on Workshop Records 21, has shown why she's one of the most exciting producers and DJs around right now. Her first full EP on the same imprint soon followed and showcased her unique taste for sparse rhythms and thick sub-bass grooves. Last, but by no means least, we're bringing the enigmatic Joe back to Leeds seven years since his one and only previous performance here. He's just returned to music after taking a break to study, releasing a brand new record on Hessle Audio as well as lining up a whole load of high profile shows. We were lucky enough to have his first public performance in over three years with us at Hope Works in Sheffield and let us just say that his skills behind the decks have remained as sharp as his productions!
