  • HEADLESS HORSEMAN (LIVE) This mysterious producer has cemented his place as one of the most exciting live acts in Techno. The eponymous Headless releases sum up the modus operandi of this artist: dark, raw, and rhythmic IDM flavoured Techno. Hardware-only live sets at places like Berghain and Boiler Room Berlin have showcased the Horseman’s insurmountable skills as a producer and performer. Rest assured, the sword is sharp and ready to slay the masses. KEEPSAKES (SOUTH LONDON ANALOGUE MATERIAL / NZ) Keepsakes, the moniker of British-born, New Zealand producer and DJ James Barrett, has been going from strength to strength in the murky world of underground techno in the past few years. His unique and gritty productions have led to 12”s on Ansome and Ossian’s South London Analogue Material and Germany’s Mindcut, and a release on MORD’s Herdersmat compilation. As well as this he has seen European tours and has hosted the ‘Haven’ club nights in Auckland alongside Jaded Nineties Raver, working to push his crunchy sound to dancers at home and abroad.
