The rumours are true...thesis is back…and just in time for our 4th birthday.
We’re hyped to announce that He/aT will be helping us celebrate 4 years by smashing out a very special 3hr History Of Techno set.
He/aT (aka Chris Finke) has been a mainstay of UK Techno since the early 2000s. As well as holding down one of the longest running residencies at seminal UK institution Atomic Jam, he ran the Flux Recordings label, and remixed the likes of Mark Broom, Orlando Voorn and A Guy Called Gerald.
In a brave move to keep things fresh, late 2013 saw him essentially killing off his past name and started recording anonymously under the He/aT moniker with a string of releases on his self-titled vinyl-only label that immediately grabbed attention of DJs and record-buyers. His music explores every avenue of Techno, from hard hitting main room jams, to experimental workouts, drawing from myriad of influences past and present. Pushing his sound and beyond with his DJing, he was invited to make his live show debut at Berghain in 2015.
2018 will be approaching Chris’s 20th year in Techno so who better than to take us on a journey through the history of the genre? He will be performing a special 3 hour set spanning from original Detroit sounds through to the modern-day output of some of the industry’s most innovative new artists.
