On Sunday 15th of January 2006, the promoters of London’s favourite large scale dance event South West Four unleash a new Sunday afternoon session on the people of South London at the plush surrounds of the infamous White House in Clapham Common. The night entitled <b>Push</b> will occur on a fortnightly rotation and involve a blend of some of London’s best DJs playing alongside the next generation of uprising stars.
The soundtrack served up for the afternoon crowd will cross the musical spectrum with house, breaks, electro and even the option for live acts.
Sunday decadence south of the river!
Push is the creation of Damian Gellé – one of the promoters responsible for the massive South West Four festival every August on Clapham Common - and Matt Priest, former Radio One events co-ordinator. Damian is evidently excited about this project:
The launch night will be headlined by Ashley Beedle and Rocky from X-Press 2. These two legends of the house scene will be mixing up a storm at the launch with an early Sunday evening set (7pm – 10pm), followed by Spencer Parker fresh from his world tour having rocked clubs from Edinburgh to Estonia. Sophisticated Dance, are hosting the VIP room.
